Testing of Fire Fighting Foam

At Mermaid we are constantly looking for ways of improving the services offered to our customers. This is not only to fulfill our obligations to comply with the QMS, but also to ensure that we meet the requirements and expectations of our clients.

Rules and regulations are constantly changing and we ensure that our services always are in compliance with these. A good example of the above is the implementation of IMO MSC 1, Circ. 1312 concerning testing of fire fighting foam.

"Expansion & Drainag" "Sediment Test"		Mermaid has invested significantly in facilities and equipment   to carry out testing of foam concentrate in accordance with the IMO requirements. The tests are done by trained and qualified personnel to ensure that results are precise and reflecting the actual condition of the foam concentrate samples obtained from the ship or offshore facility.
